This is an activity that goes with the listening & speaking textbook unit on ukiyoe. Look at these examples of Hokusai's greatest works - his woodblock print series of various depictions of Mt. Fuji, Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji.
The picture above is his most famous print from this series - Under the Wave off Kanagawa, sometimes known as The Great Wave off Kanagawa.

When you are finished, talk and write about your favorite print. Talk and write about the points I showed above - the relationship between people and nature, the role of Mt. Fuji, and so on - and what your reaction and feeling is with your favorite print.
