Hello!
How are you? Here are some presentation design tips for Power Point.
Here's an example of a basic Power Point show. The screenshot at the top of this post is the first slide of this show.
The information in the slides are things that I believe make for good Power Point design tips. They are not the only things you can do - but they are safe things you can do when you want to use Power Point but would like some guidance. These tips are good for Key Note as well.
So look at these and I hope they can help you! Read the slides - they are good tips.

Light gray, light blue, light green or even light pink backgrounds are easier on the eyes to see on big screens.
Special note: Dark backgrounds are okay - but be sure that any text is easily readable against them! So of course - light text against dark backgrounds.
You may need to adjust the font and point size for dark backgrounds. Generally, san serif fonts (for example, Ariel [which looks like this] or Verdana [which looks like this]) may be easier to read against dark backgrounds.

This is also important! Humor is okay in Power Point presentation - but only when it fits the topic, or a particular point you want to stress on at a particular point in your talk.
I hope these tips can help you.
Good luck!
