ECA (英語基礎表現) I (P): 春期末作文

Hello!

How are you? Today I will show you our final writing assignment (期末作文) - making small posters of special places - places that are unique, interesting, or special for you! 

Let me show you some other students' posters on this topic. 

One thing I would like you to do is to show the directions (道順) to the place.  

You can also show a famous area (有名な場所) - if you do, show what kinds of places and things are there - for example, the place above (上) about Ehime shows famous food, onsen, a famous person who lived there, and even an image character about it! 

Here are some more posters about places. 

This last one is interesting. This person shows a place in her future - a town in Germany she wants to go to some day.

How are you? Let's talk about directions (道順)!    

Activity

Look at these pictures. This is the way from Miyahara station to Seigakuin. But the pictures are not in the right order (道順は違う). Can you put these pictures in the right order? 

When you are finished, can you talk about these directions? Here is some language you can use for the order (順番) of the directions: 

First...    go straight...    down this street...    turn right...    turn left...   

next to the...    between (the)...    across from (the)...    at (the corner)...    

on the left...    on the right...

Homework

Hello!

How are you? Today I will show you the words and ideas about events and places you like to go to about summer that you wrote in the classroom before.

When we write about things we like to do - places, traveling, and things like that - it's good to have many words and ideas that can help you. These were very good!

Activity (活動) 
Let's write some sentences about things we want to do, or are going to do, or will do. These word maps you wrote in class before might help you! Look at them and they might help you with your writing!

How are you? Here's a post about entertainment (娯楽), places (場所) and events (イベント)! 

What kinds of places or events would you like to go and see? Look at these places and events. Which ones do you like? Which ones are interesting? Which ones do you like? Which one do you like the best? Which one is the most interesting? Talk (and write) about these places and events! 

例えば：
A: What do you want to do - go to a live concert or an open air market? 
B: Hmm...a live concert. 
A: A live concert? How come? 
B: Because I love live music. How about you? 
A: Well, it's okay, but I think an open air market is more interesting to go to.

Now try this - look at these pictures. Mix and match them and talk about places and events you would like to go to!
